"My Mommy Getaway" at The Willow Hotel and Spa
It has been exactly 4 weeks since my "Mommy Getaway" to the NEW Willow Hotel and Spa @ Viejas Casino! Now if you follow along on instaSTORIES then you would have seen this amazing trip unfold with my sister @theheartandhaven. I decided after having been pregnant for 9 months and raising my baby girl who is now 6 months that it was time for me to give myself a little r & r. I'm not gonna lie but I did feel guilty leaving to go get "pampered" but then I said to myself "ya know what, no! I deserve this!"
On the way to the resort @theheartandhaven mentioned that this would be her third time away from her kids --the 2nd time away was her giving birth to her youngest too! Which does not count at all!
When we arrived and I took one step into the lobby, we were immediately blown away. I really don't get blown away that easily so when my mouth dropped and I started to take pictures of everything, you know this place was something special. I loved all the gemstone detailing and the lady mentioned that the Viejas Tribe was known for gemstone collecting. How cool is that!
When we got to our rooms the gasps continued. I mean gemstone vibes everywhere! I loved the velvet details in the couch and pillows, enormous marble shower, "asking Alexa" to put some jams on while I got ready for dinner and the bed! THE BED, THE BED, THE BED! So comfortable and I slept like a baby :)

I can't forget to tell you about the room service. I ordered the corned beef hash with poached eggs which came with a side of vanilla yogurt parfait + berries and freshly baked bread. I can die happy now --too dramatic? hehe but seriously, I can!
The second night we dined at the hotel's Locale Restaurant. If you follow along on my instagram then you know I'm a huge foodie! Foodie-licious to be exact! I had high expectations and I mean high. Honestly, this place blew me away.

Spa Time at The Willows Spa
My sister and I decided to make one of our days at Willows Hotel a spa day! We both experienced the 50 minute Micro Greens Detox Facial & 80 minute Custom Massage. I have to give a shout out to Quinn! BEST MASSAGE! Between starting the day out with a massage then laying by the pool and having lunch, to following up with a facial, it truly was the perfect day!

Since my first "mommy getaway" a month ago, I returned to the spa in the same month to spend the day at the spa again. It was day of my birthday on April 25th and my husband gave me the day to myself without baby again. I mention this because my spa experience was so on point and exceptional that I returned again and in the same month!
If you are looking for a nice home away from home type getaway this is the place for you. We spent our day between going in the himalayan salt sauna, steam room, indoor jacuzzi to lounging outside by the spa pool and resting on the chic hanging swing (a big kid's dream!) to just overall having a relaxing time to reflect and unwind. It truly was the perfect getaway and I will definitely be back ;)
A huge thank you to Viejas & The Willow Family for having us and really making us mommy's feel pampered for the weekend.
