Mega Pyrite Specimen

A world class mega pyrite with a large massing of perfectly terminated cubic pyrite crystals, interlocked on its natural Basalt matrix. This museum-quality specimen has large cubic crystals for the species. The cubes are entirely natural, uncut, and unpolished, and perfect aesthetics. These crystals form naturally in the Basalt.

Pyrite, a naturally occurring iron disulfide mineral. The name comes from the Greek word pyr, “fire”, because pyrite emits sparks when struck by metal.

Pyrite has long been valued as a strong protection stone that shields the wearer from negative energy as well as environmental pollutants. Thus, this stone helps promote physical well-being as well. Stimulating the second and third chakras, pyrite enhances strength of mind and willpower.
